FAQ's
Q. Can I mix the flavours of my wedding cake or cupcake order?
Yes! Each tier of your wedding cake can be a different flavour. The minimum batch per flavour of cupcakes is 12. So for example, an order of 60 wedding cupcakes could be made up of five different flavours!
Q. Do I have to choose one of the cakes from your gallery?
You can certainly order cakes that you like on the website or if you have an image of something you like we will let you know if we are able to replicate it for you.
Q. How long before our event is the cake prepared?
Sponge cakes will be made as close to the delivery date as possible to ensure they are as fresh as possible when they are delivered.
Q. I am allergic to nuts, can you make nut free cakes?
We treat all allergies very seriously and can create nut free cakes. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements. Please note that your cake will have been made in a kitchen and with utensils which occasionally handle nuts.
Q. Do you make gluten, dairy free or vegan friendly cakes?
All of our sponge cakes can be made with No Gluten Containing Ingredients and No Diary Containing Ingredients - even the buttercream frosting can be without dairy so there is no reason to miss out. Please note that your will have been made in a kitchen and with utensils which handle gluten and dairy products.
Q. Do your prices include delivery?
All of our prices include delivery within and around the Sidmouth area. For deliveries further a field there will be an extra charge. Collection is also available from Angelchops HQ in Sidmouth.
Q. How long will my cakes stay fresh for?
All of our cakes and cupcakes are made without yucky artificial preservatives and so we advise eating them on the day of delivery. In the unlikely event that any cake is left over at the end of your event then place it in an airtight container and store at room temperature – it should be good for another 2-3 days. It is never a good idea to put cakes in the fridge as they can dry out very quickly in cold temperatures.
Q. When and how do I pay for my delicious cakes?
For large orders (such as wedding cakes and cupcakes) we require a deposit at the time of booking with the balance payable two weeks in advance. For standard orders we accept cash on the day of delivery or BACS payment a few days before delivery.
